organization , released results of a successful order management upgrade of the
Charles River Development platform for one of the most successful Long Short Multi
- Asset Hedge Fund. The client engaged consultants from Principal MVL to assist
with the upgrade of Charles River Development’s Investment Management System
(CRIMS) for their mission critical systems.
The
experienced Order Management System integration team at Principal MVL was charged
with the upgrade of Principal's success in this implementation was a result of a
structured project approach that started with a detailed roadmap and key tasks that
included the following milestones:

Integrated feeds to multiple systems including two accounting systems, EMS
platforms (Redi, Trading Screen), Line Data Beauchamp and down stream data reporting
environments

Integrated Credit Derivatives functionality and Derivatives Order processing

Integrated confirmation/affirmation interfaces for investment operations including
Omgeo OASYS, Omgeo CTM.
- Integrated Charles River's C# API for custom webservices trade modelling.

Implemented custom FX Trading interface using ASP.NET and Charles River Web Services

Upgrade database servers from Microsoft SQL Server 2000 to Microsoft SQL Server
2005 Clusters
